Twin peaks

How might one go about arranging a search for intelligent life in the universe? Presuming that most, if not all, organic lifeforms closely resemble our own seems to be the prevailing opinion as to where to start. Thus, as we speak, scientists are searching the cosmos for planets that fall within the habitable zone of sun-like stars. Enter Kepler 22b, the best approximation found thus far. What, specifically, is known about this planet that many are now referring to as "Earth's twin"? And how realistic are our expectations? Dr. Woldar and Skyler Hall adorn the Science Panel along with our host.

Nothing less than magnificent

The October, 1912 issue of All-Story magazine displayed a muscular, slightly clad man astride a rampaging lion. The man's knife raised for the kill, another man looked on in horror. The title was as exotic as the illustration: "Tarzan of the Apes ~ A Romance of the Jungle." Fifteen cents would have gotten you a copy of the story by Edgar Rice Burroughs. This was not a glitch in pop culture, this was phenomena, wreaking with neo-post modernism and all the stuff that mythical heroes are built upon.
