The big rolls
On the Aug. 24 show (LIVE at 9 p.m. Eastern; Fridays: 2-4 a.m. UK) Tales of moving on ‘foot wheels,’ known as roller skates. Kids in the city used roller skates for street travel and sports and no gender was excluded. The world of the crazy shoes with wheels from origin to their permanent spot in pop culture is explored and exalted.
