The recent decision that the pop song Blurred Line is a plagiarized Marvin Gaye song brings to the surface a universe of possibilities to judge, some very funny and absurd. What is the difference between plagiarism and Neo-Post Modernism? Can someone copyright “influence” and keep the lawsuits coming for just about anyone who creates a book or movie or play or song or painting? Where is the line drawn?
