Talk of the town

Barry Farber is one of America's legendary talk show hosts. En route to legendary status, he was the editor of a daily newspaper, a wrestler, a steel worker, a representative of American college students in Yugoslavia and Brazil, an interpreter for units of the Chinese Nationalist Navy and a Phi Beta Kappa student.

A master of many languages, Barry hosted his own shows on WINS, WOR, WMCA, and WABC in radio’s top market, New York City. He talks candidly with our host, who was a fledgling when he met Mr. Farber in the big radio market.
