Self-serving show

Dr. Gary Popoli returns for another "session of self," which sounds academic but is, virtually, simple stuff we can all relate to on a conscious level. Be conscious, then, and come to the show on March 29 and bring your composition book for annotation notes and just fun doodling. And, of course, bring your bad self, too.

Listen live dial-up or broadband, click here at 9 p.m. EST.

Check below for all possibilities for hearing the show live, replayed or archived, on your computer or your iPod. The RSS feed and file download are also in left column and at Podomatic.

Programming

Here are a few things to check out.

First, but not foremost, if you are in a singing mood and you know the melody, check out my song for bloggers by clicking here.

Next, Flash FM, in the United Kingdom, is broadcasting some archived Cotolo Chronicles shows as a special treat. Our show has been on Flash FM for two years and we love our Brit listeners more than soap. So get into some robust reruns every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 9 p.m. to 11p.m. (GMT). This change in the schedule does not effect the current Saturday broadcast slot.

Cotolo Chronicles also air on afternoons on KJAG at 2p.m. CNT/3p.m. EST.

Monday muse

She's everyone's favorite heart throb, she is the template for the lonely woman who searches and searches for the one person who can sooth her rough edges and take the edge off of her smooth roughness.

She is Emily Groom and another episode of The Life and Loves of Emily Groom is now available.

Emily Groom has become one of the most popular fictional characters the modern woman from the west has ever had. Emily's lonesome, needy heart yearns to have the perfect person to settle her inner turmoil, which becomes more inner with every passing day (and as we all know, the days keep passing regardless any innard yearning). Men will love the adventures of Emily Groom, too, since she sounds like she is attractive enough to have fun with in bed.

Enjoy the next episode, from the coming book titled --you guessed it-- The Life and Loves of Emily Groom.

Soldiers of mankind unite

Make your life worth living. Sit down and research how you can make the world a better place to live by contributing your talents, even if you have none. Many people are in need of help and, as we all know, people who need people are the luckiest people in the world.

I am seriously thinking it all over. In fact, the thinking may be over. Allow me to inspire you with my own thoughts by clicking here.

Et tu Cotolo!

Julius Caesar's bloody assassination on March 15, 44 B.C. forever marked March 15, or the Ides of March, as a day of infamy. It has fascinated scholars and writers ever since.

The topics are plentiful on this Y2K+7 Ides of March, so beware. Among the subjects demanding attention are Sly Stallone, Buddha Boy, The Cat In The Hat, Stardust to dust, ants and Buddhists and Jefferson the Jew.

It's a roll of the dice where any or all of these subjects lead us as we open the doors of our minds and address this week's journey down "The H-Trail." Plus, a new D-Cookie. (photo by Larry Michelich)

Yak through the years

While tons of topics are being hauled into the studio for the Ides of March program, you might be curious to listen to this show -- Lifestyle Yak, with Lynn Ward. The program you can listen to is called Off The Beaten Path.

Lifestyle Yak looks at the dynamics of the over-40 crowd. Don’t worry if you are “under 40,” the content will be appropriate and of interest to any age.

Lifestyle Yak celebrates life, honors those who have beat the odds, and those who are making a positive difference.

Is it doubtful that "a positive difference" involves the interviewee (Frank Cotolo) in the current program? You be the judge. And hang on for tons of topics this March 15, live at 9 p.m. EST.

Read on ...

I don't only write books, I review them. At least I review those that I feel offer value to the soul, mind, heart and stomach. Yes, the stomach is very important. A book that does not affect all of those parts of a person is a book unworthy of the eyes. Oh yes, I forgot to mention value to the eyes. A good font, an easy-on-the-vision read, so to speak, in fact, exactly to speak.

So read my review of a new book, The Defiant Client. I review it here.

Slob duo re-unites

Curt Brandao (cyber-alter-ego pictured) is the program's guest. A contemporary American humorist (his column is syndicated in newspapers across the country), Brandao has a firm grasp on the new technology's sweeping influence, having created The Digital Slob character, blending the geek with the meak and preparing to inherit the New Earth. The network show begins at 9 p.m. EST.

Global warning

Another great book, Moon Over Gorgon, is now available for your reading pleasure. This book could hardly be classified as educational, but one rarely knows what one will learn when a book such as this enters your life. Of course a book like this there has never been, so who can tell?

You can tell. Visit Spain and run with the bulls, dance on fire in the Balkans, explore the best beaches in the world, dine in the most quaint cafe in France and learn the dark secrets of Africa's coast and the myths of the moon from mythology.

Only one book can deliver all of that in less than 100 pages--Moon Over Gorgon.

Buy it today. Makes a lovely gift for Y2K+7 holidays to come.

In like a lion ... the mane event

Count me in for another rip-roaring, concept-soaring, though-luring, gracefully enduring, concept touring two hours of news, information, conversation and insubordination as the first show of March, Y2K+7 comes to you in all of its live glory. Dead clowns and crazy sounds are just two topics to be covered, so don't be late.
