Faces in the brew

Coffee is the divine drink. We all know that. Nothing makes water taste better while at the same time serves as a legal stimulant and a social prop.
Now, we learn of a person who has made an art of the brew, literally, though "art" may be debated as to the results of his efforts. You be the judge, putting on your Neo-Post-Modernist cap and watching his work by clicking here.

The Monday muse

Launch the week with something to around your curiosity. That's the aim of the Monday muse, which also hopes to help you sooth the endless pain of life on Earth, although the first goal is much easier.

Today's reading should inspire us all to know what we know and try not to care if others care about if what we know is true or not. If other people bother you, please read today's muse entry, which is simple to do, just click here.

Got 'live' if ya want it

SLATE: Thursday, Jan. 25, a month since the most recent Christmas. So, that means it is time for another show, the fourth of the seventh season of the new millennium.
Speaking of the fourth, some big announcements are coming forth on this program about future programs. As well and moreover, the Jan. 25 solo venture nails some sell-out rock stars, digs up the Buddha Boy in the Bara Jungle and raises a battered flag for sex on Broadway. Among other things, of course.
The Green Room hour begins casually at 8 p.m., EST. To enter the chat room for that, click here for a java pop up, sign in and go.

To listen AM-radio style live via SRN One, dial-up or broadband, just click here at 9 p.m. EST. The back-up server for live broadcasts is at AudioCoffee, just click here.

The Monday muse

It's the start of another work week for most of you, so that means it's time to ease the pain with the Monday muse. Today a wonderful, personal tale of ecology and high-spirited liberalism. The New Age would not be so new were it not for people like me.

So be ready to be inspired and click here for the story.

The book of love

Py Kim Conant, author of Sex Secrets of an American Geisha is the guest on the Jan. 18 program. Women and men can benefit from listening to tonight's conversation and learning about her great book. No other discussion on this unique book will be as open, as in-depth or as enlightening as the one we offer on this program.

Continuing our trip through the second of the seventh season of the new millennium, check in on the network show at 9 p.m. And if you are free earlier, join us in the Green Room at 8 p.m. EST. The Green Room is where the friends and freaks hang out before the network show. We sing, interact and shmooze in casual array for an hour. We also have SRN news breaks and other goodies. Join us if you consider yourself a friend, a freak, a freaky friend or a friendly freak. You can enter the Green Room's chat board, curtosy Audio Coffee and talk with the host and/or the occupants.

To listen to the Green Room and the network show AM-radio style live via SRN One, dial-up or broadband, just click here at 8 or 9 p.m. EST. The back-up server for live broadcasts is at AudioCoffee, just click here.

Sex, talk and chat rooms

Plan ahead, our Jan. 18 program is going to be a classic.

The network edition, starting at 9 p.m. EST will feature Kim Conant (pictured), author of Sex Secrets of an American Geisha, a new book that can revolutionize relationships in the west.

And, on Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. EST, the Green Room opens for casual pre-show activity. You can chat with other roomies and you can sing and play along to the mild and the manic behavior that winds us all up for the two-hour broadcast. Check in to this blog on Thursday and find out how to join the Green Room chat center and, of course, to click and listen live.

The Monday muse

This Monday muse we offer the introduction to a major work, although it is hard to believe it would ever be major, no less completed, considering the subject. The work is an intense yet worthless biography of Crackpot Hooligan, a character that some people feel should not be fictional. In order to even begin to understand the beginning of what begins when you click here, you must click there.

The photo on this page is not that of Crackpot Hooligan, so don't be mislead. However, it could be Crackpot Hooligan, if you so imagine it to be.

Shadows of happiness and other ponderings

It's Thursday again and that means the native drums are pounding and the smoke signals are sending the message through the sky: Time for another show, the second of the seventh season of the new millennium.

What happened to the Buddha boy? What is this thing called happiness? Have you begun to remix your life? Why weren't there strawberries at Strawberry Fields? Who knows where the stream of consciousness goes from there? You just have to listen ...

Much more to come

The list of guests for Y2K+7 is already growing, and additions to the show are poised to launch.

First, on Jan. 18, the new, improved Green Room opens. The Green Room returns after a long hiatus, bringing a casual, pre-network hour to anyone who wants to hang out with me and friends from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST. It is a casual romp which includes music, interacting with listeners and news. It's totally Neo-Post-Modern! The Green Room is only available at SRN One and its network affiliates. Click here for more details.

Also on Jan. 18, The D Cookie debuts. The fabulous Artist D, the Internet's first superstar, chimes in with an attitude segment as a regular contributor (do we smell a spinoff here?).

And coming up through the winter months, guests include the Godfather of modern rock journalism, Paul Williams; Oscar-winner Matt Mungle; Witmeister Brock LaRobb; the pope of emotions, Dr. Gary Popoli; the one and only Leigh Silver; marketing wizzard Dan Acree; and many many more poised to commit.

Stay tuned!

The Monday muse

Here we go again, with some start-of-the-work-week reading material that should bolster your holster and make the day a little easier to get through, if not harder.

Today, the muse takes us to a personal meeting between me and a 100-year-old man who has found a place in folk history. Click here to read the story.

Talk to you soon ...

Instant-message mania!

Once again, it's the first Friday of the month --and the first Friday of the new year, too--and that means it is time for Cotolo Monthly. It's a talk magazine with alternative broadcasting's veteran mouth at the helm, as the pilot, your guide, host and usher.

But more than that, it's an interactive show where the audience is the engine. Talk to Cotolo through your AIM, YAHOO or MSN messengers. Ask questions, suggest topics, share recipes, talk about what you are thinking and feeling.

It's exclusively on Wild Bunch Radio. Tonight, 8 p.m. EST.

Launching Y2K+7

On the first show in Y2K+7 there is talk of British coyrights, an mp3 experiment by major labels, the Chinese battle of the Internet, My Space vs. Stickam and the continuing conflicts over commercialized web communities. There is talk of a new planet in the universe and the myths of happiness. There is a daunting haunting in the air even as the new year rears its childish head.
All fodder for two hours of rat-a-tat-tattin' on the Jan. 4 program.

To listen AM-radio style live via SRN One, dial-up or broadband, just click here at 9 p.m. EST.

Check below for all possibilities for hearing the show live, replayed or archived, on your computer or your iPod. The RSS feed and file download are also in left column and at Podomatic.

Tuesday muse-day

My agent (pictured, allegedly during negotiations with a major book publishing company) is not your ordinary artist representative. He was raised by parents who were mentally challenged due to their participation in the Dada art movement decades after it ended.

Check out my latest edition of Talk by clicking here to read about my latest adventure with him.
