Diagnosis pending

Live on Feb. 25 at 9 p.m. EDT, a bit about Paddy Chayefsky, the late, great author whose work, “The Hospital,” turned into a 1971 movie directed by Arthur Hiller. The movie inspired the classic broadcast we feature during the show. “We've established the most enormous medical entity ever conceived,” said one character in the movie, “and people are sicker than ever. We cure nothing! We heal nothing!” A classic monologue from the 2009 show aired after a critical health attack of our host, who, dives into the madness of hospital health care, its doctors, nurses, tools and metaphors.
