Thus, as we speak, scientists are searching the cosmos for planets that fall within the habitable zone of sun-like stars. Enter Kepler 22b, the best approximation found thus far. What, specifically, is known about this planet that many are now referring to as "Earth's twin"? And how realistic are our expectations? Final Frontier looms boldy

Just wanted to respond to James here – Chris (CD) Malpass and myself are part of the team running Final Frontier, a station that we built up from Rangerplex Alternative Webcasting (RAWNet) – basically the goal we have for the stations (and wanting to network and spread the virus, if you will) is to bring back a sense of fun, community and a sense of the old school to radio in general. Back in the days, jocks had fun, got on everyone’s nerves for a laugh , had wonderful conversations and played some really great music that THEY picked and not Billboard or the RIAA. CD and I are of the opinion that this can set internet radio apart from the ‘competition’ and become a way for everyone involved to become part of the forefront of things and get their name out there.

We are a 24/7 station, along with an guy who helps us with IT technical issues, and have production ability when it comes to drops and liners plus voicework – we also have done all graphics (logos, etc) for FFR and hire out both production and logowork on a consignment basis. We are also in the process of trying to assemble street teams to help cover concerts and the like to be posted to the .com page.

We are happy to make new friends and partners in the business , and speaking for FFR, we are glad to get to meet all of you.

The October, 1912 issue of All-Story magazine displayed a muscular, slightly clad man astride a rampaging lion. The man's knife raised for the kill, another man looked on in horror. The title was as exotic as the illustration: "Tarzan of the Apes ~ A Romance of the Jungle." Fifteen cents would have gotten you a copy of the story by Edgar Rice Burroughs. This was not a glitch in pop culture, this was phenomena, wreaking with neo-post modernism and all the stuff that mythical heroes are built upon.

Schedule change in the wake (loose) of Mexican freedom celebration

For a number of reasons, none of which will be revealed here, the May 5 edition of our show will be a re-broadcast of a show. SRN One's top dog Phil Hong (pictured above in deep study and calculation) will man the Green Room, as Restless Johnny Wakeloose is undergoing oral surgery, making his mouth inoperable, which is a contradiction, just like the man himself.

As far as anyone can tell, and who can tell anyone anything, the show will return on May 12 with a live version and maybe a guest and perhaps a special announcement prepared by a staff member who is in charge of special announcments.On May 12, however, SRN One's Phil Hong (pictured above fiddling with academia and a cheap looseleaf pad) will return to his usual tasks.

Those of you concerned with the condition of Resteless Johnny Wakeloose should gather in Kewick by the famous tree on May 5 and remember that Johnny is one-sixteenth Mexican, making the day an official holiday. Cinco de Mayo, as they call it in their language in Mexico, is taken seriously, as it should be, by people whose relatives fought for freedom from Spain, including the right to alter Spanish recipes. Johnny had such relatives, though no records exist.

Tuesday night, Oct. 12, Frank (center) makes his third appearance on RAWNET, the Rangerplex program, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., EST. Chris (left) and Rick (right), will be there to assure Frank does not make a mess or mockery of the place.

Mostly this is a promotion for Cotolo Chronicles beginning live broadcasts this coming Thursday at 9 p.m. EST. Rangerplex joins the live network for the landmark program, making Rangerplex, instantly, a landmark alternative broadcasting network.

You are invited to listen and to participate by joining the chat room, where you can make comments, ask questions and have your name repeated as many times as you delight in such activity.
